I started drawing and painting at the age of 5. I'd use art in every way I could and took pride when my abstract, objectively hideous, interpretations of the world were mounted on the kitchen fridge. Art followed me throughout my teens and young adulthood, a consistent bedfellow for sleepless nights spent at my table where I could cast my dreams onto a blank sheet of paper. At the beginning of the pandemic I started messing around with Procreate and found simple joy in being able to work with such a variety of texture and color. I love creating movement out of two-dimensional scenes and drawing the spaces I hold and the people I love.
